The ambiguity between danger and entertainment often divides the audience in people that laugh and people with a very concerning look on their face. When this split happens, I know my work came across, since this friction of joy and weight often embodies me while making the work. The confrontation between fun and risk, where passion or chosen naivety seems to blur consequence, is one which drive most my works and enthusiasm to show it to others.
My practice exists for a big amount of me chasing my own tail, which expresses itself in performative actions and videos.
A topic which has been in my work for a long time is inexperience. My practice largely based on trying what you can’t do, and doing it in (what I beforehand consider to be) an easy way. Driven by my fear that practice and experience might cloud my initial intention.
